We are so blessed at the Highway to have an amazing asset that services the community. We utilise our heated pool for baptisms and encourage the general public to book the pool for lap swimming.
Swim teachers are also able to book the pool to run lessons.
Our 20-metre pool is available to the public for bookings in Terms 1 & 4 during the school year. The 2024/25 season opened on October 14 and limited spots are still available.
To arrange a booking, please email highwaypool@outlook.com or press the contact button below.
Our indoor pool is located inside the church at 1a North Terrace, Bordertown. If you have a swimming lesson booked, you may enter through our front doors (clearly signed) and walk past the auditorium. You will see a hallway leading to our toilet facilities and on your right a glass gate that is the entrance to the pool.
Please refrain from entering into the pool area until the previous lesson or lap swimmers have left the water.
You are more than welcome to use our shower and toilet facilities after your lesson.
Are you wondering what it means to be baptised?
Baptism has been a part of the Christian faith from the start, and in modern day Christianity we use baptism to signify a person's choice to follow God.
Immersion (water) baptism originated from John the Baptist; as he was widely known for baptising people in the river Jordan. Jesus himself was baptised by John at the beginning of his ministry (Luke 3:21).
